Insert a Photo Gallery

The following tutorial require that you be logged into the backend of your website. Go to www.yourdomain.com.au/wp-admin and enter your login name, password and click the Login button.

This will bring you to the dashboard which is the home page for your CMS. From the dashboard you will be able to navigate to all areas of your site, the following tutorials all start from the dashboard screen.

Insert a Photo Gallery

1. Ensure you are located on the dashboard screen.
2. Click the button “Pages” on the left hand side of your screen.
3. You will now see a list of the pages on your site. Move your mouse to the page you wish to edit. While hovering over the page link click “edit”.
4. You will now be on the “Page Edit” page, click on the “Add NextGEN Gallery” button to add a gallery.
5. Use the drop down box to select the desired gallery you want to add, then select the type of gallery you would like to show. Click “Insert” to place the gallery on the page.
6. When you are finished editing the page, you can click “Preview” to view the changes you have made before they are published. Otherwise click “Update” and the changes will be made live.
